Forestville the Suburb

Forestville is a leafy suburb with proximity to the Sydney CBD, North Sydney and Chatswood. Regular bus services to the city and Chatswood are provided by Forest Coach Lines. Forestville is located approximately 15km north-east of the Sydney CBD and is locally known as one of the northern beaches’ best-kept secrets!

Forestville is part of Warringah Council along with the surrounding suburbs of Killarney Heights, Frenchs Forest, Davidson and Belrose. It is well serviced by community facilities, including a council-run library, churches and a community centre. The shopping centre has been re-developed in recent years and includes a Coles supermarket, a post office, banks and many thriving small businesses, cafes and restaurants.

There are plenty of parks, playing fields and sporting facilities nearby. All codes of football, tennis, netball, cricket, baseball and swimming are well catered for by local clubs and facilities.

Forestville is bound by Garigal National Park, Davidson National Park and Middle Harbour which are all havens for native flora and fauna and have extensive walking trails for beginners to advanced hikers
